HYPERHIDROSIS (EXCESSIVE SWEATING)

Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, is a common medical disorder that affects many people of all ages. Hyperhidrosis is often found in the underarms (called axillary hyperhidrosis) and on the palms of the hands/soles of the feet (called palmoplantar hyperhidrosis). Excessive sweating can often be a source of embarrassment for many people and affects teenagers and adults alike.

To address hyperhidrosis, our team of expert injectors use an injected neuromodulator to temporarily block the nerve stimulus that triggers sweating. With these simple injections, we can prevent sweat from being produced in the targeted treatment area.

+ What should I expect during my treatment?

Hyperhidrosis injection treatments take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on the treatment area.

Many clients report a slight pinch during the treatment similiar to a typical needle.

+ Are these treatments the same as Botox?

Yes, we often use Botox in these treatments.

+ Is this a permanent soluton?

Hyperhidrosis injections prevent sweating in the treatment area for apprxomiately 6-12 months. Once the effects begin to wear off, many clients return for a follow up appointment.

+ What areas can be treated?

Many clients report up to a 90% reduction in sweating after this treatment. This treatment is best used in high sweat areas such as the underarms, palms, soles of the feet and forehead.

+ What can I expect after my treatment?

Clients may experience slight redness or tenderness at the injection site. There is no downtime and clients can expect to see full results in two weeks.
