+ What should I expect during my treatment?

This treatment takes approximately 20-40 minutes depending on the treatment area.

During the laser hair removal treatment, a diode laser will penetrate the hair follicle to heat up the root of the hair. This heat technology prevents any future hair growth.

+ How many treatments do I need?

For all laser hair removal treatments, we recommend approximately 6 treatments for optimal results. The number of treatments is largely determined by how your hair follicles react to initial treatments.

+ What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Clients should shave 24-48 hours prior to their appointment. Clients should avoid UV exposure or self tanners. Do not wax for 6 weeks prior to your appointment.

+ What are the risks associated with laser hair removal?

We require all clients to share important health information such as allergies, vitamins, over the counter medications and all prescription medications.

There are a number of conditions that may inhibit a client's eligibility to receive this treatment:

• Clients who have used Accutane within the last 6 months are not recommended for this treatment
• Clients with abnormal skin lesions, cold sores, or moles , must have the areas treated and cleared prior to laser hair removal
• Clients who are taking antibiotics are not recommended for this treatment as these medications can increase photosensitivity

+ What type of aftercare is required?

To achieve optimal results, we highly recommend clients take proactive aftercare steps, including:

• Avoid UV exposure for 7 days following treatment
• Do not puncture blisters
• Slight discomfort may occur.
• Avoid additional laser treatments for two weeks post treatment
• Use suncreen
• Report any unusual skin irritations to our team immediately
